Apple Engineering Management Tiers / TC
Apple doesn't seem to have management tiers on levels.fyi. So 2 questions: 1: What are the tiers and TC for eng managers? 2: Is Apple a good place to work as a manager -- compared to other top tier places? Thanks!

I assumed close to $400k. But everything I've been able to find has been telling me, at least first year, it'll be mid $200s to low $300s if I'm lucky.

What? Are you talking base or TC? 250k doesn’t sound right for either. A mid-tier ICT4 should have like 180k base and at least 300k TC (at least 20k bonus and 100k yearly RSU grants).
M1 would be ~330k TC at best. U would need to get M2 in order to get 500k+ TC.
How hard is it to get promoted form M1 to M2? I hear ICT4 to ICT5 is super hard.
M2 is significantly easier than ICT5 in most orgs. In SWE, ICT5 needs typically Craig or multiple VP approval.
ICT4 = M1, ICT5 = M2, but managers get more RSU refresh
