Apple blacklist?

I turned apple down for a contractor software engineer role a few years ago. And then for a FTE software engineer about a year ago. Now when I apply for apple jobs I don’t hear anything and I don’t really get pinged by their recruiters on LinkedIn. Did I get blacklisted or am I being paranoid?

May be Apple is in hiring freeze now given the iPhone slowdowns

I got one this time. The times before I didn’t and they reached out.

Why do you care about them following up if you’ve said no to them twice?

There’s a different role I’m interested in now.

Are you actually interested, or just willing to interview?

Apple Googul Nov 14, 2018

Course you are blacklisted. Company wasted their time and resources twice to interview you and you rejected them. They have every reason to believe that you just do this for fun.

Apple recruiters do have black list of candidates. For whatever subjective reasons, they can put negative comments in their system which practically prevent your CV from being picked up and you being interviewed again.

Seems to me not a good system if it is one strike and you're out forever, Dzung. Is there a way to get back on the good side?
