Apple in the bay, IS&T
TC: 120k/80k over 4/20k sign

Microsoft Redmond, Office backend
TC: 117k/75k over 3.5/25k sign

Amazon Seattle, unknown team
TC: ~136k

Reasons are helpful, I’m not really sure of the CoL difference between Seattle vs Bay

Microsoft because they’re offering 147k TC which beats amazon’s 136k TC.

Amazon because you are new grad. If you want to relax, can join MS later on

I'd pick Apple or Amazon. You'll learn a LOT. You want to be in a position to learn as much as you can. I made the mistake of going to a compliant and relaxing job right after college. This caused a lot of problems down the line ... Especially if you meet a crappy manager in the lax company.

Thanks, that’s why I was considering them. But would the Amazon stress be actually learning or just stress? Would there be more room for promotion at a lax company?

Well I can only speak from my experience. I'm in Amazon in the Bay Area and any stress I've had usually is learning related. I've experienced decent WLB and a promotion in 2 years.

In the lax companies, YMMV. But usually you don't learn and don't have many exciting projects to work on. People would resort to politics. But you'll have a lot of free time.

Be honest, doesn't matter too much. Because you will always move onto new companies after the first one in maybe 1-4 years. As a stepping stone, probably AMZN is slightly better...
