At&t vs TMobile which is better?

TMobile is cheaper. Are services as good as each other?

No. T-Mobile service degrades by quite a bit as you go away from populated area.

I am too cheap to buy Gogo and Netflix...otherwise I would have away from T-Mobile long time ago. I get poor reception at work, at home so basically rely on wifi to make calls

I feel your pain bro. I am the same and the biggest irony is when I lose reception in the middle of a big store while trying to check the price of something online.

AT&T is better in the boonies if that matters to you or are in the car travelling to parts unknown. Buy a Red Pocket $20/mo. plan from eBay--unlimited minutes and text and 5gb. Customer service is good thru chat on their website. Uses the AT&T network with no speed caps. I have this plan and it's solid. Their eBay store is much cheaper than their website fwiw.

I had ATT, changed to T-MOBILE a year ago, paying half for my plan with no regrets! The only places I noticed a difference was in rural areas driving between San Francisco and LA and the middle section on San Mateo bridge and Bay Bridge. Otherwise, all good! I have it through a third party - Teltik.
