Azure PM vs Microsoft Teams PM
I’m currently a PM in Microsoft Teams soon going to be 64. I have an offer from Azure from a very good team. My only incentive to join that team is that it will add Azure brand and the experience with specific technology will make my resume good for AWS, Google cloud and Alibaba cloud etc. I want to understand that sacrificing my 64 is worth it for future outside MSFT, also working for Microsoft Teams will give me equal opportunity when applying to Google, Facebook, Alibaba and others? Hiring Managers from these companies can provide thoughts on this? Also for MSFT, can I have discussion with my HM in Azure for 64? TC:245K

Yes if promotion is only thing holding you, talk to azure team if your move will not impact your promotion than you can move, if they really want you they will support for promotion as well
Microsoft teams is under the spotlight now. It’s one of the most sought out teams to work for due to the rapid growth of the service. I’ve seen many wanting to move to Teams.
I keep wondering about Teams. Why is Microsoft investing so much in a free product? How are they going to make their money back?
