Basically Mueller wasted 30 million and found no Russia interference?

So, Mueller wasted 30 million dollar and instead of finding anything relevant about the original scope of the probe, which was foreign interference on elections, he is wasting public time on investigating lying and paying pornstars. If lying is a big crime now, do you think Clinton should be behind bars too? Was this a major waste of public money and time by Mueller?

weird how the right wing never bothers to think but just word for word copies what they hear on talk radio or fox

Copied this from CNN: To be clear: Nothing (<- underlined) that emerged on Friday -- or in the sentencing memo of former national security adviser Michael Flynn that was released earlier this week -- is any sort of smoking gun that pins collusion or obstruction of justice on Trump. Article on cnn.com called "Friday was a very, very bad day for Trump" By Chris Cillizza, CNN editor at large. Just to be fair, the article talked about tightening the vise on Trump and the probability of more substantial and incriminating evidence to come from Mueller. The article was not in Trump's defense. I saw your bigoted comment and just wanted to clarify that some on the left believe, as of now, there is not definite evidence. Tomorrow is another story. As of now, using the information we were given, $30 million dollars has produced no indictments. That is as of today, with the information that the public has. And that tidbit comes from the "left". No need to defend your position, I think we are on the same side here regarding Mueller and our opinions on the outcome. I'm sure they will find Trump guilty to some extent. But We are not on the same side as far as your bigotry goes. I think there are very bright, educated, caring people on the left and right.

My response to ppppppl was in regards to right wingers never bothering to think and just copying what they hear from Fox. I'm a right winger so I decided to copy from CNN to prove they have the same talking points. If you have a reliable news source then please share it so other's can be educated. Personally I don't trust any MSM 100% and have to dig around at various sites and filter through all their bias to draw my own opinions. I applaud you for coming to the obvious conclusion that I regurgitated CNN as that was the point. I definetely think you added clarity to my response.

Why would we want federal law enforcement to ignore criminal activity when they find it? Dozens of indictments and at least eight guilty pleas or convictions sounds like money well spent. Why is the OP soft on crime?

Mueller investigation was able to seize $60M worth of assets as part of Manafort’s plea deal. So they have actually turned a profit, something Donald cannot understand obviously.

^^ this. The investigation paid for itself.

Not sure how we quantify public and administrative time/money loss.

Sprint lxCy58 Dec 8, 2018

How’s it a waste of money if 5 people from Trump’s organization pleaded guilty and are now awaiting prison sentence? And the investigation is not over, more people will be convicted specifically related to the Russian interference... holding a meeting in Trump Tower with the Russians during the elections and not disclosing it, then lying about to the FBI is a criminal offense.

Apple Turing 🖥 OP Dec 8, 2018

Basically, you are convicting then for “lying” which is extremely low level misdemeanor. You are not convicting them for so called collusion because there is none. You are convicting them for lying , by which logic don’t you think Clinton should be behind bars?

Amazon Mncw28 Dec 8, 2018

Lying under oath in Congress or to the FBI is perjury, which is criminal, not low level. Collusion itself is actually not a crime, believe it or not. It depends on whether they broke laws while colluding, and then it looks traitorous to collude so results in a bad public image.

OP, please don’t insult the name “Turing” with your stupidity.

The key is that it seems Trump is clean so they are attacking anyone around him they can to try to get to him. This investigation started over election compromise and now we are arresting members of his campaign over perjury and digging into how Trump made payments to prostitutes. If they did commit perjury then fine, but clearly this is nowhere close to the original accusation and looks like a coordinated attempt to take Trump out by any means. We literally have emails showing that Hillary and the DNC colluded to lock in her nomination which, along with the Mueller investigation over collusion, stinks to high heaven of hypocrisy for people who are watching both sides.

Apple 🖕_🍎 Dec 8, 2018

You do realize this is still an on-going investigation right ?

Microsoft chown_US Dec 8, 2018

Yes and if it ends up that they find something so be it, the truth should prevail. So far nothing public points at election compromise or collusion between Trump and Russia. Rosenstein has even said so publicly, but anti-trumpers seem to be convinced that he's going down. I'm just opting for innocent until proven guilty, but a lot of people have their minds made up just because they don't like the guy or have been misled about him by the news.

so long as Trump and his family is safe the MAGA campaign is on track. If a few people (manfort or lawyer) get sacrificed along the way then who cares

Microsoft Biz Exec Dec 8, 2018

If Trump wants hillary prosecuted, he should have had her join his campaign!!

Leftists cheering on Mueller need to understand government if they want to can force you to plead guilty or they prosecute you to financial ruin and engineer TC won’t be enough to cover your ass. Campaign finance violations are almost never criminally prosecuted unless you have a target on your back.

Why are you against the rule of law? Why does ideology matter to you when deciding whether to enforce the law?

Microsoft asw Dec 8, 2018

I’m not against it. But I will not cheer on selective enforcement.
