I'm a community manager. No, not that kind. Or that kind. The forum managing kind. I've had interviews with Google and Pandora, but I've been working on trying to think of all the other companies I should be keeping an eye on. (That are not video game companies, because I do not hate life enough to wade into those waters).
Good suggestion. I think a fair number of health apps have them, and I had kind of forgotten about them. As to Blind, I suspect that they would not be in need of my services, because just from what I can tell from just a quick flip through, whoever their community manager is, they know what the heck they are doing. Which is rare. This place should be one giant dumpster fire, and it isn't. The community guidelines are very well crafted.
MySpace and G+
Even if I had a time machine, those were both platforms, not forums
Doesn't YouTube have some of this?
At Salesforce we work really hard to nurture our success community.
Facebook
The's a platform, not a forum. See also Reddit, disqus, discord, slack, etc. Admittedly forums are rare.
