Compared to in-n-out, yes. But the point isn't the burger but the experience. You can't order it double double animal style. You get a burger or a cheeseburger, and if you don't like what comes in it (with is nothing by ketchup and mustard) tough crap.
If you’re going to ask for all of West Coast to vote, then you should make sure the choices are available everywhere on the west coast. There are no In-N-Outs in Oregon (to my knowledge) or in Washington, so many would have never tried them.
That said, I had them in San Francisco, and they were mediocre. I couldn’t believe people rave about them. Five Guys is better by a factor of about 1000.
