Which companies have better job security? Well known companies like Fitbit, Microsoft, Adobe etc or small/mid size obscure companies.
France. The employee protection there is good. Every single job in France has better job security than every single job in the USA and most of the fang/ ms. Etc. Has an office in fr. Actually EU in general is better for job security than USA
French government job is good!
I heard the cathedrals there are lit
Well known companies with reputation for wlb.
Hence MSFT.
Also I think companies like cisco, intel, oracle
Cisco, Oracle have layoffs almost every year
So does Adobe... just not mass layoffs so it rarely makes the news. Every single year, between Nov and Jan everyone (who has a sense of awareness) is on edge.
No such thing as job security. No one knows what tomorrow will bring.
Your best bet is to not become dependent on a single company. Ensure that you are highly skilled and valuable to others so you always have work. The best option for job security is probably government work. Who wants that except the French person here?
Agree. Build skills and experience and you can take control of your future
Government work is stable but sometimes boring. I work for a California Commission, happy to talk.
How much is the salary? Location? Is it software engineering job?
Fitbit?! Are you serious?
Do u mean Fitbit is a small companies or low job security.
Just by looking at the chart of their stock for the past 5 years...I feel it’s kinda low
