I had a Shift offer that hit above average KBB good condition for entry level Luxury car. Took it, the whole confirmation appraisal process took about less than an hour (you get an initial online quote based on your estimated condition and they do an in person appraisal to deduct dings and scratches.) You also get $100 credit if you have the paper title in hand + 2 keys, and another $100 if you take it in personally to a Shift location.
Shift is 17753x more convenient. So, even if it's a $500 difference fuck Craigslist
Username checks out.
Shift if car is not easy to sell else Carmax is your best bet. I would post on Nextdoor too.
Facebook Market Place & Craigslist. Both target slightly different age groups. I've bought and sold a lot on Craigslist though. Be prepared to negotiate. Take clear pictures.
You can post ad in LetGo and OfferUp..

I guess it’s true millennials don’t know how to interact face to face. What happened to private party sales? As a seller that’s how you get the most money. I guess you guys would rather use an app on your phone.
We use these apps for listing and finding vehicles, then meet up and do the face to face transaction. You still use the newspaper?
What’s wrong with the newspaper??? 😋
Shift Full disclosure: I work for Shift
CarMax
I found they were closer to the kbb dealer trade-in value than private party.
Time Is money. You’re saving time. Also it doesn’t hurt to get a free offer from them.
