Looking for reviews. Also debating down vs synthetic. It is said that synthetic is better for wet weather. Does it apply to Seattle rain also?
Patagonia is enough you don't need a true parka in Seattle. Man up
Canada Goose jacket
Don’t wear a jacket. Or if you do, make sure to wear one that gets soaked and makes you look miserable. Most of all, no umbrellas. You don’t want to look like a tourist, right?
After you get a jacket, get a pair of nice flip flops, just so you have that real Seattle winter look.
Patagonia Isthmus
Freeman raincoat with a hoodie underneath.
Gucci Gucci Prada Prada
Get a Gortex shell and learn to wear wool and other non-jacket insulation for the winter.
I'm amazed at people wearing $400 arcteryx shells waiting for the bus in Seattle. That shit is meant for brutally harsh conditions, like blowing and freezing rain in the alpine. That is the only place where I wear mine. Literally any no-name shell off amazon will work just fine in the city.
I'm amazed at people driving 300+ hp cars on our streets with all that traffic. Literally any 80hp cheap car would work just fine for your commute. /Sarcasm
Waterproof down. REI has lots of options, also Uniqlo.
Silky haha
Not silky, down. You silly.
