If only they checked their airplane designs as much as their employees. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2019/may/03/boeing-union-workers-fired-south-carolina
Well wouldn't you?
So I guess all the people who cried online about Google firing that sexist memo guy but are now silent when it comes to things like this—-were just full of crap? 🤔
Show us where the Constitution establishes the rights of unions in private companies. I know, the Constitution ...
It’s NLRB, not the constitution. Most laws are not written in the constitution by the by.
How do Blind users feel about organized labor?
Your (assumed) high TC is because your org can move fast without worrying too much about regulations...plus when push comes to shove what a union can buy you is just leeway for a short period of time, as is too apparent in the case of the auto and manufacturing industries...so how do *you* feel about organized labor?
Well, for us it buys a watermark (minimum # of job slots) for our title they can’t cut past, 5-year callback rights if laid off, super seniority bidding back into a job (laid off worker with 3 years can get a job over a 30 year employee who already has a job). We don’t have the best benefits in the valley, but we have a job tomorrow and the next day. So long as you’re not call center. Or installers. Or management. 😉
