Boeing is fucked
I think there is a MASSIVE lawsuit coming. Now it turns out that there were several other incidents of the 737max8 going into a nose dive where pilots figured out how to avert the crash by disabling the system. The two that crashed were cases where basically the pilots didn't figure out the puzzle in the six minutes they had before they died. So Boeing rigged the safety approval process, then failed to act on repeated real world failures until only after not one, but two jets crashed killing hundreds. Not only will the families of the dead sue them, but all the hundreds of passengers on those flights that almost crashed have a case that they were needlessly put in danger. It will cost money and the stock will take a hit eventually. But there are only two big plane makers in the world. Boeing isn’t going away. Just gonna get smacked and get back up again.
Nothing will happen to Boeing. It's a proud American Enterprise. Government will do everything to help them thrive against Airbus.
Their stock was on a tear but they still laid off their workers. What asshole ceo did they get?

They definitely need to rethink how they build planes. Dreamliner got grounded, now the MAX. They need to stop cutting corners to please Wall Street

A week before the saga, Boeing was celebrating Airbus’s A380 fiasco. Lessons to learn here - never make fun of others as you may get into a similar shit the very next day. People are dead because of their mistakes. No money in the world can bring back a single life - in this case how are they going to answer so many families. The irony is the stock is keep roaring - pathetic investors.
Boeing has really lost my respect in the past year. There was another case last year where they ran to the feds and got them to sign off on a 300 percent tariff on the Bombardier CSeries that Delta bought to try to kill off that plane. Of course, Bombardier had the perfect response by selling the program to Boeing’s archrival, Airbus.
