Breaking into tech with utilities experience

I have a lot of experience in the utilities Industry such as PM, engineering, financial side, operations. I am passionate about tech and being innovative but this industry moves slow. What are my options if I am trying to break into the tech side of things. I know that I can pick up and do anything. I am looking for something where I can manage a team or a mid level position. Basically I am jack of all trade, master of none but can take on any challenge.

Start applying. If you get no bites, you need to improve your resume. If you get interviews but bomb them, you’ll see what your weakness is. If you get an offer, you’re ready!

It’s doable. There are plenty of energy startups out there and most of the big players have energy teams as well.

I was thinking, I could do a consultant role for tech B2B companies catering to utilities.
