Does any of you live in Hayward? How’s your life like. Security/connivence etc? Thinking about buying a house over there. Need some advice, thanks.
Hayward near Mission Blvd is good. So many new luxurious projects. Go and take a look and you will love them. With the money saved, send your kids to private schools, as Hayward schools are not great. Safety and convenience all good.
Thank you. Will check it out.
Look at DR Horton Reserve community, up on the hills and priced right. But they are selling fast and should be wrapping up the project soon. There are couple of new projects coming up near South Hayward BART station and for anyone on a tight budget looks attractive. There are so many projects and you got to google to find the new upcoming projects. South Hayward is going through a huge change and look very different even from 2 years back.
I don’t anymore but I used to. I felt fine there, nice place to live, the commute to South Bay is a bear in rush hour
Found many new construction homes over there.
You’ll need to send your kids to private school. There are no good schools there nor will there be in the foreseeable future. Safety is okay as long as you’re far enough away. Still gotta drive though some ghetto stuff daily, which is a bummer. Not really my cup of tea. If I’m going to commute over an hour to work, I want to love where I live. There’s better stuff in the tri valley. Further commute. But worth it IMO. Especially if you have a family.
Thanks for the reply. We are not planing kids for a while. Found the houses in Hayward are relatively cheaper. Looking at the areas on hills. Found a pretty interesting new construction on Hayward high school area, planning on check it out.
Parkside by pulte on 2nd st? DM me if you're still looking.
Hayward’s a big city with many beautiful pockets, such as Mission Garin. If your kids don’t go to elementary school in 5 years, I’ll definitely explore Hayward. (Rent/sell and upgrade afterwards) People won’t believe or have forgotten how Mtn View (yes), Redwood City, San Bruno, Warm Springs were 20-5 years back.
