Can you negotiate offer of internal transfer to Waymo?
I'm at Google. Have an internal transfer offer to Waymo, and several offers from other companies. Anyone knows if I can negotiate Waymo offer?

You can negotiate a little bit if you have external offers. But Waymo knows it is attractive and doesn't need to match competitors comp to make the hires.
Offers from external companies are 20%+ higher. So probably not too different. Do you have any data point of such negotiations? So I know what to expect :)

Also wondering this. I've heard you can, but I'm not sure if you can negotiate anything but equity.

What’s the motivation for Waymo? Doesn’t it kind of seem like it’s dotting i’s and crossing t’s there?

It's just one of those things, you either know or you dont as far as its concerned in this context.
