?? Little to none. I can only think of 2 or 3 people who immigrated here from Canada. But tons who want to get into Ca.
As an immigrant child in Canada, the vast majority of those who study software in Canada will go to the US at some point. Not necessarily to emigrate, mind you.

You should try live in Canada. It’s fucking boring and expensive. Consider pay cut, high taxes and cost of living, you can have a much better life back India. Plus you get better weather and can afford helps. I don’t get it why Indians don’t want to go back
Why are they decreasing their rate of increase (2nd derivative)? 2017-2018 they increased by 40,000. But 2018-2019 it's only going up by 20,000?
But what’s the point? Cost of living is high and wages are not high. Also super cold. Might as well as just stay in India and take advantage of growing tech opportunities and wages.
Canada is way better to live as an immigrant. Racism in the US is much worse and orange clown did not help at all.

Immigrants don't just go to the country that has good immigration policy. They go to the country that has good high paying jobs.
That may be true for factory workers. Not for the smart ones. The smart ones go where there's sane rule of law and start businesses, take risks and make something of their own lives.
