Every day. I overcome it by planning my next move, either within G to a better team or to another team at a different company. Coffee helps.

I got a 3% raise this year! I'm still making 40% below market rate though. So yeah, tears were shed.

Don’t get complacent, go on interviews often, just so you’re not out of the game. Seek out new technologies and dabble when you are bored.

There is never a dull moment at Tesla. I used to work at Intel and Samsung previously and what I did was this : try working on projects other than the ones assigned to you. And pick projects which are from a different vertical. I did some business analytics while working as a Hardware Design Engineer.

Why do you need to overcome this?

Integrated Device Technology Avail OP Oct 11, 2019

Cause, I feel bad and not satisfied with my work.

Google UquV75 Oct 11, 2019

Yes once, move to AWS, realized exciting is bad, rather be board at work and be exited about life (,family, home, dog...)

Oracle pzd Oct 11, 2019

👆This. Did some time at a startup - worst time in my career. Much enjoy the quiet and peaceful (though boring) life at Oracle. Health has improved, get to work from wherever I want, whenever I want, and spend much more time with the family.

Oracle not_larry Oct 11, 2019

My goal is to automate myself out of my job. That way I can do something new. Rinse. Repeat.
