Change location to NYC
about to start bootcamp @ facebook but always wanted to move to NYC. is it possible to still switch during bootcamp or is it too late?
I live in Manhattan and can confirm that New York is overrated

There’s only 2 groups of guys who think NYC is overrated; the ones not getting laid by the abundance of beautiful women, or the ones who live outside the city and commute in. It’s a single guys playground.

I've seen it's really hard to find tech positions in NYC if you are located in Seattle or Bay Area. Recruiters try to force Seattle/Bay Area locations on you. So if you have a chance to do it now, do it. Most company's NY offices don't have many open headcounts.
