Got an offer from a CASB startup based in las altos.. total cash compensation 210K.. and 100K worth of stocks in 4 years. Is it a good idea to go for this? How is the CASB market? 5 YOE. Current company pays around 170K a year ( dinosaur in networking area... i might get promoted in 6 months there to bring TC at 200k)... any adult advise?

Yeah, that would be Netskope. All the big players in this space (like Cloudlock, acquired by Cisco, since you already work there) were bought out in the last 2 years or so. The space is still young and good. However, you have to look at Netskope’s funding history. Their stock has been diluted to kingdom come (can be seen on a few reviews on Glassdoor too). No one except the upper management would make any money off it. Their last round of funding was well over a year ago and an exit is the only way out. Whether it would be a good exit for your offer, only a Netskope employee can shed light. 100K of stock per year for 4 years or 100K over 4 years? Because that’s very low if it is the latter.
