As companies are moving to multi cloud infrastructure including my current company. The new players oracle cloud or google cloud will have lot of potential to grow. My company tech stack is aws and we are adding azure this year. So to conclude OCI or google cloud will not die. What do you guys think?
Yep, both OCI and Google Cloud will be just fine. AWS and Azure will likely dominate the market for a while, but the other two should get plenty of business.
Hmmm
Only those cloud businesses will slowly run out of business who cannot sustain a healthy margin because their revenue is not high enough to pay the operating expenses and the competing salaries for the right talent, and still make profits for the uncertain future.
I bet oracle has a higher chance of this but doubtful of google especially after there new announcement of their true multi cloud strategy compared to aws/azure.
I’ve made this comment before: it sounds like the regulators are mandating redundancy across cloud vendors... which to me really sounds like we are going to end up with a bifurcated cloud landscape across azure / aws
