Compensation for new grad (undergrad and masters)?

Can people share their compensations for new grad positions? I'm interested in both undergrad and masters graduates, and would love to hear base salary, signing bonus, and RSUs.

Undergrad at bay area startup: $135k base + 10% target bonus, $20k signing, $10k relo, $180k worth of stock options.

Amazon Ljhknhvvvi Feb 17, 2018

Which startup has such a high base?

Google Feb 17, 2018

Not naming to protect my own anonymity, but you can PM me. For context, most of their offers are around $120k base, but I had a high base + target bonus % competing offer so they tried to match with base.

Wow, Amazon has really upped their new grad offers. 2 years ago a return intern in Seattle got 100-105k base, 50k rsu and 35k/25k sign on.

Amazon Hooliganss Feb 17, 2018

For what it’s worth, I had friends in digital goods and retail, and both received offers in the ballpark you stated. I was in AWS. Perhaps they’re hiring at a greater rate and want to retain interns, idk. Location is Seattle. Also, I went to a no name state school, and had a total of three internships (one of which was at G)

Were you a returning intern? I got way less RSUs.

Microsoft boojah Feb 18, 2018

Yes. Return intern

Amazon Ljhknhvvvi Feb 17, 2018

Amazon - 106+35.5 signing first year + 30.5 signing second, 65k RSUs. Pretty lowball but still the most cash first year. Rip my finances. Fintech 1 - $130k, $20k signing Fintech 2 - $130k, $10k signing, $100k options Fintech 3 - $131.5k, $13.5k target bonus

Amazon Hooliganss Feb 17, 2018

This is actually normal I think. Pretty similar to what my friends had.

Amazon Ljhknhvvvi Feb 17, 2018

Well, yeah but that’s not a good thing

Apple Prlitbamni Feb 17, 2018

Apple MS: 105-110k base, 15k sign on, 0-50k rsu.

Apple YwDH70 Feb 17, 2018

120 base, 25k signing + relo, 100k RSUs over 4 years (ICT3, out of undergrad) no previous internship at the company

Facebook tRFH81 Feb 17, 2018

Don't new grads get ICT2?

Apple YwDH70 Feb 17, 2018

I think it depends on the org

Return intern -> Google (no MS) 116k base, 45k signing, 255k stock

LinkedIn Jeff Besoz Feb 17, 2018

This is crazy high. What year was it? Starting 2017 a lot of companies downsized (or lowball) their new grad comp and started not matching.

Amazon Ljhknhvvvi Feb 17, 2018

Who downsized? Google always matches. My question is who OP matched with.

Epic slitstils Feb 17, 2018

95k base, 10k relo/signing, bonuses are somewhat unpredictable but usually <10k
