Am an Amazon TPM and just applied for a TPM role at Credit Karma. I like their product and people probably don’t cry at their desks there. After applying I received a thanks reply in 2 seconds and then 10 sec later a “thank you not interested “. So clearly I’m missing some keyword and the bot is punting it. What gives though? Sure it stings a little but it just seems a little silly. Is CK absolutely swimming in TPM resumes that they can disregard a perfectly good candidate? Tc:245
Ck pays a shit ton for tpm, and they are pretty good with CS background.
What's ashit ton? I can't imagine as high as GF or U
Can put down a referral if you interested? Culture would be better than Amazon, obviously not like Google but it's pretty happy culture and fun party place along with work.
I wasn’t impressed by the company. Turned them down. Good money though. Lots of arrogance but they lack business sense and I don’t think will survive a downturn since only one business makes money and that business has only a few customers. The others are all losers. And Silverlake will gut then.
Some roles are internally marked for recruiter hiring only (typically for more senior roles), towards ensuring that hiring manager and interviewers only spend their valuable time on candidates pre-screened by recruiters. (You can still find such roles online either because the recruiters use the link to share with prospective candidates, etc. ) Applicable laws in certain US states and countries mandate that if a resume is accepted after some initial screen based on skill match, then they must give you a fair chance. To circumvent this for recruiter-only roles, companies set up auto replies for all submissions. Long story short : reach out via recruiter
