DS to SWE learning path?

Medium-strong in Python. Weak in Java (2/3 of one course in a Coursera specialization). Weaker in Scala. No coursework on algorithms. Lots of aptitude for programming. Which learning path should I follow to transition from DS to SWE at FAANG?

Scripting is not engineering. So besides algo course and lc you need SWE courses

It is not asked in interview though. But you need that to work.

Why would you do that? I only heard about people trying to move from SWE -> DS

I think that my lack of a graduate degree will hold me back from getting the very best DS jobs. And I’m very ambitious.
