Data Scientist Domain Choice in New Job
2.5 years industry experience in Data Science after Ph.D. on computer vision, machine learning. Have two offers, one from Established company in Digital Marketing (higher TC) and Automatic Driving Car start up (lesser TC), with same base salary. Any suggestions?

zorkan Feb 6, 2019Same roles/responsibilities? Same locations? It all comes down to who you want to work with. Digital marketing stuff can be fun, but there's a lot of bullshit going on with the ML claims in that sector. Make sure the infrastructure isn't garbage (eg; there already exists a path from data collection to production/integration of models, +compute resources).
Start up should compensate with equities, otherwise definitely established
