The daughter of Uber Chief Legal Officer TW got into a plum job with a fancy title and level disproportionate to her experience. She joined within days of Dad’s joining. She does not come to our office building 685 and is not known to have done any work in the past two years. The CLO is the height of corruption and nepotism and hires his cronies only. Only reporters can help we hard workers who get laid off after working hard while such people are having fun at a public company
You can create twitter account and tweet above to tech journalists like WSJ Tech, Bloomberg, HuffPost etc(search for twitter tech journalists). Also see https://www.nytimes.com/tips.
Quit crying... it’s embarrassing. You really think an executive having influence and getting perks is newsworthy? You have a loser mentality.
Nepotism should be exposed nonetheless.
Is it illegal to hire family members? I don’t know Meena but neither does the OP. I don’t know what qualifies him to have any opinion on it. There’s too many naive people like OP that think they’re so talented and hard working and are jealous of everyone else. It’s a toxic, unhealthy attitude. Stirring shit up in the press isn’t going to do anyone any good.
Do the right thing. Period
Yep people hire their friends and family. It's not illegal. I highly recommend it. Learn and do the same.
Even at facebook friends and family are hired? They don’t have to go through the interview loop? Or may be interview loop is set up as formality?
Of course, there is a referral system at all companies! Friends family and significant others often work together.
Listen, keep your head down and execute!

It sounds like shareholders loose money from this. Should be illegal.
Just get with the daughter then ... so simple
He also got his house renovated which was paid for by.. UBER. While he stays in a world class hotel.
I don’t know why some tech companies are so obsessed about their chief legal officers. At Microsoft, Brad Smith is similarly treated like a king eventually ascending to highly lucrative but do-nothing post of “President”.
Ok and? Executives are compensated well. This your first day?
