Denver vs Los Angeles

Given the opportunity and you had to pick one of these cities to live in which would you pick and why? Let’s say you’ll have the same everything (job, pay, etc).

That’s a joke, right? LA is a shithole with awful traffic where they take an extra 8% of your pay and provide worse services.

Not even a question. Unless you are related to Matthew Mcconoughey and can crash in his pad, go to Denver.

Denver for sure. U won’t regret it and thank me later. I live in Bayarea and used to live in LA. Except u are fresh grad and want to enjoy the LA city Hollywood night lives, then go LA and have fun. Otherwise, u can get lots more house, buying power, better everything in Denver.

Depends on your YOE. If it’s 5+, then Denver so you can settle down some time soon. Otherwise enjoy your youth in LA

I'd go with Denver because of the astronomically better skiing and I like the Colorado vibe better. LA has decent beaches, but I'm more of a mountain person. LA has more of that big city energy, but nothing compared to a NYC or Chicago. LA gets the nod for food. The weather is close to a push, honestly.

Denver all the way. You have it all in the city, plus open areas to explore. Winter is not bad at all. There’s sun and snow melts in a day.

I live in LA. I love it but it is certainly not Denver. People here are shit. The reason traffic and all the stuff people are mentioning here are all because of the people. They are selfish, inconsiderate, vain, lying, pieces of trash. I’m from NYC where people are rude, fast paced, but at least they are sincere as fuck and secretly care a lot about the people around them. Other than that, the weather and beaches are great and culture (when you can find he genuine stuff) is on point. Food here is garbage (compared to Chicago and nyc) except Japanese and Mexican food. Pick Denver. They’re like the happiest people in the country.

LA for sure... Perfect weather. More to do. Better food. Better art. Better music.
