Depression getting worse...

Try to spend time outdoors. Go to gym.

Talk to someone ASAP. These things can be fixed with medication. It ain’t your fault. It’s in your dna

Medication is the last thing you should be advising someone. That's how drug abusers get started - a quick pill for a bad mood through brain-altering chemicals. They should find a way out through wholistic methods like meditation and introspection. Yeah, meditation not medication.

This is awful advice. Antidepressants are not gateway drugs and meditation/cognitive behavioral therapy alone does not work for everyone. Medication is a lifesaver for many. There's a reason why doctors prescribe them.

Have you considered getting some help from a therapist. Depression can happen to anyone.

Working at Amazon is supposed to be happy??? As an ex-Amazonian I highly doubt that is true

TrueCar 3?83tvs Feb 22, 2019

Nah amazon can suck like every company

3? Amazon is special. It is built on tears of depressed grunts such as OP. Hopefully one day all the noobs will realize the truth and run away from Amazon. The good old days are gone when hard work and performance mattered. Now it is just dirty politics between directors.

Hang on buddy. I've been there. Depression hurts like hell. Took therapy and meds for me. Don't give up.

Dm me if you want to talk. I can’t promise you that I will solve all your problems but atleast I can listen and you need someone who can listen. For professional help, please see a therapist.

Same. Happy to talk to you as a friend, OP.

Intel notpor Feb 22, 2019

OP: You have two right here and many in this thread who will be willing to listen. Trust me most of us are or were in same boat.

Consider therapy. Yoga and meditation helps a lot.

Have you considered trying new and challenging tasks, whether at work/with a different company or in your personal life?

Oracle voFc70 Feb 22, 2019

Don't neglect it. It can get to you in ways your can't even think of. Try to spend more time with family or have small goals. Checking if boxes, even for small tasks, gives me a sense if relief. It can be groceries or a taking a class.. anything. If your still can't, talk to your spouse and may be a specialist as a last resort
