When I work from home, I usually just plug a keyboard and mouse into my laptop. I'm looking to up my wfh game. What kinds of setups do others have, for really productive wfh days? I find I get little done... Probably need to get a switcher thing and hook it into my main monitor as well.
Hook up my laptop to a monitor, mouse and keyboard. Almost the same setup as office (just one screen less).
I have basically the same setup as my office (convertible sit/stand desk, external monitor, keyboard and mouse). It’s hard to give advice on productivity; I think that really depends on the individual. I think having a dedicated space/desk that you only use for WFH can help a lot, though.
You need (well, I do ...) a routine that sets the scene for "work mode". I get up, eat breakfast, work out, shower and dress for work like normal. I sit at my desk and hook up my laptop to network and peripherals just like normal. Since I have strict rules about only doing work on my work laptop, it's not hard to stay away from non-work dabbling while at home, just as I do in the workplace. I break for lunch at the usual time and end my work day at the usual time. The more disciplined you can be, the easier it is to have normal work productivity remotely.
I lay on the couch with just my laptop, a good pair of headphones, and my cats curled up nearby.
I do the same except I am sleeping as well
Laptop on kitchen table. Super high tech.
32 inch monitor with laptop dock. Wireless keyboard and mouse.
I have 2 screens at home as I have at the office.i am very productive during my wfh days
Wait... Whole Foods does tech? Is this amazon fresh?
MacBook Pro with 2 27 inch curved Samsung monitors
How do you differentiate work from home?
IMac running Windows via Bootcamp. InTune managed. Ethernet. It’s dreamy.
Good experience? Bootcamo on my MBP is terrible.
