2 years since I've been here in the US, 1000+ applications submitted, interviewed with 3 companies so far; Google, Juul Labs and Intuit. Scored a full-time offer from a F500 company where I was an intern this Spring semester. Super low salary, extra long working hours with no additional pay, no learning curve whatsoever. Any help/tips from you guys would be greatly appreciated. Will give out Pizzas in return :) YOE: 2 TC: 40k
May have to start at the bottom. Analytics is super saturated right now.

Absolutely! I'm perfectly fine with getting an entry-level position in Analytics, as long as the pay is decent and I get to learn new stuff :)

Done! Thank you so so much! :)
Analytics jobs usually require a lot of domain experience. Companies usually don’t hire fresh graduates. Most of the JDs state 2+ YOE. Don’t aim too high like prestigious tech companies, just start somewhere and get some experience. Then after 1-2 years you can jump anywhere.
That would've been an ideal scenario, but I'd actually need sponsorship ASAP to continue working in the US, and I don't have a lot of time to gain experience and switch. I'm hoping to get a job where I can actually learn something new and they're willing to sponsor :)
You should have stem opt no? Anyways, my point is company prestige is not as important at this stage. Just focus on finding a company that’s open to sponsor and can get you exposure to analytics. I came from the same path so I feel you. Good luck kid
