Directors at Facebook, Google, etc. are expected to drive the company strategy forward significantly. You have strong, defensible opinions on how to do this.

At Facebook, depending on the org, Director level is expected to be making significant contributions within and outside of FB. The questions won’t just be how to move FB forward, but how to move the industry forward.

They'll ask you questions relating to being a champion of change and how to work collaboratively with other groups. What is your vision of the role and where will you take the group. You'll be a process owner and work continuously to improve the process.
