i interviewed with a Salesforce hr couple of years back and asked for higher TC than market rate. The process never progressed and moreover everytime i apply to salesforce i get same email: “at this time, we have decided to pursue other candidates”. Update: after applying more than 100 times, i tried one last before closing the chapter of Salesforce. And to my surprise the recruiter got back to me. Atleast im not blacklisted at my favorite company.
Not blacklist per se but a permanent record of every interaction you had with HR. Sometimes companies will leave a post open just to see the activity then mass reject them. If you interviewed poorly but otherwise seemed good for the role they may recycle you internally noting to try you again in six months say.
This was 5 yrs back and I have applying to Salesforce once in while but always same response.
You'll have to change your name to get another shot. :-0
Good idea, but lot of paper work ;)
Of course!
Once you got GTFO, u kinda have to GTFO.
Well, every company does have an internal database of candidates who’ve interviewed with them. If they are to blacklist, they can (and some do). But I don’t think anyone would blacklist just because you asked for a higher Tc
I’m stumped and can’t think anything else which went wrong during our conversation.
