Do you regret not being able to start something of your own?

In the chase for TCs, do you regret not being able to start something of your own?

In my experience I have seen that as TC has increased, I am getting less time to do anything else. As I hit 40s, I am well aware that I could be replaced by someone mid-20s . Not having something of your own, a small company/consultancy/what have you - do you regret now?

Running your own company is not a walk in the park, it takes all of your time, and there is no guarantee of success. It’s just not for everyone. Why would anyone regret it?
