I don't understand the question. What kinds of things do you mean when you say, "memorize stuff?" All human knowledge is memorized if it's codified in long term memory. Do you think you'd be productive in your best language if you had to do a Google search every time you wanted to use the standard library? In this sense your question is tantamount to asking, "Do you still learn stuff that you'll remember?" Or do you mean explicit memorization, e.g. flashcards, instead of implicit acquisition through practice?
Google killed my brain with lazyness, you would be surprised of how much your brain can remember if you don't depend on Google searches.
Cannot google my passwords and such stuff yo!
Can't look up stuff in an interview
Interview questions shouldn't be memorizable. "All engineering problems are solved by one guy getting drilled on a whiteboard with no preparation of the problem and in addition a countdown clock" said no one, ever.
That shouldn't be reality, but that quote describes the modern day engineering interview.
So I can think about it when I'm not in front of a computer.
