Use DoorDash.
I always tip service people.
Depends...if its a big order, bad weather then tip extra. If it is just $20 pizza and ubereats charging me $4.99 for delivery...fuck NO!!!
No.
Reading latest news seems it doesn't matter, they get payed same either way? I feel fooled for falling for tipping just for the company to pocket more money. https://www.nbcnews.com/business/business-news/why-instacart-doordash-workers-don-t-always-receive-tips-you-n965926
Uber eats drivers get their tips. At least the drivers in our neighborhood report that they do. One driver said only about half the people actually tip her, however. But I'm pretty sure that was before in app tipping.
Yeah but how am I supposed to keep track who gives the tip directly to drivers and who pockets it. I remember Amazon Fresh the first year I used it had no tipping option in the app, then silently added it with $5 default now another year later $7 default. Does this mean the driver now makes $7 more per order or is the company using the extra money to offset their own cost...? I can't spend all my time investigating how they operate, I just want my stuff (and that the company compensates their people fairly)
I don’t use the service
Why tip for the task they sign up for and are to do exactly same. May be if they go extra mile on something yes. But not doing just what they are otherwise expected
I tip if they can follow my fucking directions and park in front of my apartment - if you can’t follow “turn left, then follow the road” kinda instructions, you don’t deserve a tip
Desis dont tip but they should
I’m desi and always give tip, get your facts correct.
It's ok, he must have worked as an Uber eats driver and is just sharing broad observations
