Just wondering. Never seen a PM position in their jobs board.
Epm
A simple LinkedIn search would’ve given you the answer...
Yes that’s a fairly easy route. BUT you can also just answer the question using the same time you wrote that comment. If you don’t know the answer, scroll on.
Teach a man to fish...
No but we do hired Geniuses to tend the bar.
It's either product marketing manager or engineering project/program manager.
Only for ads/Apple Pay. Apple is quite engineering driven org and some EPMs act as Product Managers while others just project managers with all features roadmap being driven by Engineering Managers
Literally heard someone make a joke about it today. Everyone at Apple eventually becomes a project manager as part of their role, but no one is hired for that role. Kind of like scrum master... it's seen as 20% of a job. You do it in addition to your engineering responsibilities.
No wonder their products haven’t evolved in half a decade...except for removing features like headphone jack.
Not really because of how top down the culture is. The central design group run by Johnny ive makes all core “product” decisions. This means there isn’t as much room for the typical “PM” role seen in other companies
I’ve never met a product manager at Apple either 🤔
