Does Microsoft file for H1B after transferring you there on L1?
If yes how easy it is to get H1B or it is same lottery system? What happens to the job of your working spouse when you transfer L1 to H1B? Does she also need her own H1B immediately?

If you change status from L-1 to H-1B then your spouse immediately goes out of L-2 status and her employment authorization will be revoked forthwith. If she's not able to get her own H-1B or other work authorized status immediately, then she won't be able to work in the US for a period until she gets the H-4 EAD, AOS pending EAD, or similar based on your GC application.
