Please
I considered it a good reminder:)
Yes!
^ something every woman has heard!
I'm a man and I have heard that too. Your point?
Unlikely that a man has followed you down the street shouting at you why you are such a fucking bitch, if you don’t smile at them. Or ran you down a block just to ask you to “smile for me, baby”. Or stalked you to your apartment or Office because you DID give a quick smile. For women? Commonplace throughout our youth, before we are even women, until we are old and dead. For a man? Maybe once, maybe twice and rarely would it escalate into violence. You don’t get harassed this way on a regular basis. That’s the point.
Just tell them smiling is not your forte. Being their boss someday is 🙄
This. My face is not here to please you. I can be having a bad day and have a blank face. Don't tell me to hide my feelings
Things like this. Things men don't hear as often as women.
I heard it about twice a week at most of my previous jobs. I'm a guy. I got it from both men & women. The people saying this tend to be extroverts & get insanely insecure if someone in their vicinity isn't have a great time, because they're there & they're awesome! (Right?) I ignored them & went on with my life; no therapy needed.
Maybe you have a beautiful smile
And it’s none of your business. So don’t comment or ask for more. It’s pretty simple!
So if you have a beautiful smile you have to use it on demand? Please, people are not public property
I've heard this a lot as a (male) kid
Why so serious?
Do people tell YOU to smile more?! Probably not, because you aren’t supposed to “look pretty” and always be on. But that’s not the reality for women. “Smile, honey. You’re too pretty to frown.” Blah, blah, fucking blah.
Don’t forget, “Don’t say dirty words.” Nice ladies don’t say such devilish words. Hahaha
