Doubt regarding frequent internal transfer

Hi all, I have recently taken an internal transfer from India to the Bay area and joined another org inside Amazon. I have already passed 3 months here and I do not like the work here as the work-life balance is not good in my current team and the team doesn't seem to have a good long-term vision. I don't think I can grow inside the current team. Now, I am thinking about another internal transfer to some other team in Seattle. Just curious about 1. Will it negatively impact my ratings? 2. I understand that salary might get reduced due to the geographic location. But do I have to return the relocation benefits as it is too soon to transfer again to a different team? Or they will not offer any relocation benefit again? Thanks

I would be surprised if another team would take you after such a short time. Even if they did, doubtful that Amazon would pay for you to relocate again. Would you hire you knowing that you had transferred 3 months ago?

YMMV 1. Ratings are based on performance for whole year, given you feel you havent done much, I think your ratings are already in a bit of a blur. 2. Salary entirely depends - too many factors here, may change may not. 3. Typically you will not get relocation benefits for the new move, but you shouldn't have to return the benefit you got.

Suck it up for 2 years or until you find a better offer unless you have an abusive manager or it's affecting your health. All years of our career aren't productive. There's some importance given to stability as well.

What exactly do you doubt?
