I have an in person interview with Amazon AWS for Senior Technical Account Manager next week. What is the dress code for interview you guys suggest?
GCP t-shirt
Don’t wear suit. Wear jeans, sneakers, a j-crew shirt and you will fit in. Don’t forget the blue colored ribbon around your neck and a black backpack.
Be careful what you choose, dressing up never hurt anyone, dressing down can...
Don't wear a MAGA shirt
Never heard about that. Is that same as KRAV MAGA
Wear MAGA. Diversity hire.
I wear khakis and a button down shirt and a sport coat for every interview, never a tie. Once you make introductions and if feel comfortable take the coat off and then you look more chill and relaxed. Make sure your shirt doesn’t show sweat
Woman - short skirts , and I always got in every where I interviewed - people were agreeing to every wrong answer I give
+1. Real women know how to work the system.
Seriously, why would you post this? You're a 🤡
Who doesn’t know how to dress for an interview? But seriously this happened to a colleague a few years ago. Guy comes in wearing a pink frilly dress. He can barely code, so the team rejects him. HR pushes for the team to reconsider & hire him as a trans diversity hire. All evidence pointed to the guy not being trans but just wearing a dress. When the team held strong because he couldn’t code at all, HR relented. Guy tried to sue for discrimination, supposedly the company paid out a small settlement (cheaper then a trial).
Suit and tie always. If a job interview is not a formal affair then WTF is?

Dressing up too much causes an unconscious bias of "desperation to land job", "doesn't fit in". Estimating expectations is part of the hiring process. I'd get a nice pair of pants or pristine jeans, a perfectly fit shirt and a sports jacket
