Is there any recommended dresscode? I interviewed for Indeed once and my interviewer was wearing shorts and slippers. In general, though, is biz casual the safest way to go? Reference: https://www.quora.com/How-should-I-dress-for-a-software-engineering-interview
go with your burning man costume! but more seriously, dress well, don't overdo it.
In Bay Area nobody cares. Polo shirt and jeans will be fine. Shorts and slippers are probably a bit too informal. Suit will look ridiculous.
Suit is fine. Nobody cares.
Amazon recruiter actively recommended not wearing a suit and that was good advice since i would have felt way overdressed against the people in hoodies or jeans and t-shirt
I tend to wear matching blazer or sportcoat and slacks, belt that matches shoes, and a golf polo. Look smart, sharp, but not too stuffy. I can get away with this without worrying about what other candidates might be wearing though because I know my shit cold.
Be yourself and wear what makes you feel comfortable
It's true no one cares, but I would use that to your advantage because looking put together leaves a lasting impression considering most engineers dress too casual. Button up (no tie) some slacks and decent shoes (no sneakers) is a clean enough look. A Suit is over doing it but make sure your clothes fit and aren't too tight or too lose. Just look like you have your life together at least.
No body cares how you look. Honestly, It's all about how you solve leetcode questions 😂
Depends on the city and company. You can ask the recruiter if you’re unsure; they’re usually pretty chill about that.
Taking a shower and wearing clean clothes will get you most of the way there.
TRUST me on this - as long as you don't go naked and don't smell weird, you're GOOD !
gothic lolita cosplay = strong hire
This guy interviews
I usually dress like squall from ff8 complete with gunblade
