Was attracted to them during my first internship six years back. Would love to hear about the cost of maintaining these or daily-ing them. In Bay area but might move to Seattle in sometime. I'm some what short at 6'2 by Blind standards so can't really take bigger bikes. Any ownership reviews?
Neither wtf? Get a s1000r, you’re too young to be on a gs.
I'm old. Like 27. And S1000R feels way too tiny between.
Go with the hyperstrada. The cost of upkeep will be about the same but I think that one looks way better than the gs
GS = big and comfy for long distances. Hyper for all around hoonage. Multistrada might split the difference
Maybe I'm a hipster but the new triumph scramblers are just so cool. Have you considered them at all? Otherwise my vote is for the GS
Scramblers have too much drag when you're on interstate.
You mean wind buffeting for you, not drag on the bike right? That's kind of a trivial detail, you can easily put on a windscreen on a naked bike. I wouldn't discount the scrambler so quickly, the new triumph scramblers have nice styling and do really well on the dirt. Call it a scrambler or adventure bike or whatever you want, it's more similar to the GS than you might think. The larger model is also really tall.
I think you should get a 1299, no reason to fuck around. bring it to infineon, laguna or thunderhill
Panigale?
Yup, it's like sex on wheels at the track. Every time I get off I need to massage my cheeks for 3 minutes to get stupid grin wrinkles off my face.
BMW Boxers FTW
I used to own but thats altogether old world charm. Occasionally I pick them in my Aviators on sunny weekends.
Took you six years to realize that you want one?
No. I had couple of injuries on track.
