Einstein @ Salesforce

How's the Einstein group at Salesforce? Specifically, I'm looking at the teams that came out of the acquisition of BeyondCore

Anything that’s an acquisition there is a mess

Really? I would have thought they'd be working on the most interesting stuff

Salesforce is marketing master..

Disjointed strategy. They don’t have a proper big data platform for predictive analytics.

You have to be really careful when joining in groups of acquired companies. Once acquired by big companies, only top level guys are home. There ll be lot of pressure at mid level and developers , scrambling to make themselves relevant and establish their identity. Cases might vary, but as a new guy in acquired group, you will be placed at the end behind everyone else.

I wouldn’t generalize. These teams are working on cutting edge but yeah eventually they need to be integrated but have good opportunities.
