Europe in July

I want to travel to Europe for 7 to 10 days during the July 4th week. Looking for a place that's not too hot and not too crowded. Prefer exploring a single country.

Any recommendations?

“4th July weekend” and “Europe not crowded” do not fit together.

Stockholm is not a bad idea. Most swedes are out of town in their summer homes on their 4 week summer vacation by this time. Not joking

Finland/Sweden/Norway are lovely in July and you'll get tons of daylight as well

What about Copenhagen? Have you been? I'm thinking a few days there and then to Sweden.

If you’re willing to drive out of an urban center, the Norwegian fjords are beautiful - it won’t be too hot and it’ll stay light around 22 hours of the day! The further north you go, the less crowded it will be (great option for hiking etc)

US has such a beautiful nature. Once you come to Europe, make it a more city focused trip. European cities are so different from US cities
