I wish I would get laid off. Would save me the effort
Startup failed. So it was either I was let go or I left on my own. So I left on my own.
Never laid off, never quit. This is not a good thing; I now have zero job hunting skills.
My best advice is keep learning new technology. My dad was at a military company for 30 years. He was trashed during the job hunt after a layoff because he had a narrow skill set
I used to work in games. Getting laid off is a rite of passage.

It only sucks the first time. After that, it's a chance to get double paid for a month or two.
I got laid off and then rehired. Lol. I'm trying to jump ship now, not walk the plank again.
Would be fun to see if any of you were part of the layoffs reported on this site lol - https://6figr.com/layoff/Tesla
Laid off in July...older...still looking... :-(
DevOps?
From a startup after 4 months from joining. Was glad to be laid off, the product was absolute shit and had no future.
Why did you join?
Got laid off too after joining startup within 5 months (last month). Worst experience of working in that company. Leadership was not good. Product dint sell well in market well. Looking for jobs now.
