I'm trying to evaluate my offer from FB for E5 (4.5yoe):
400k stock over 4 years
15% annual bonus
TC is around 314k
My current TC is 300k at Google, but I've consistently received bonuses around 20+% of my salary. I'm wondering how common it is for engineers to receive more that 15% bonus, and trying to get at least 350k before making the switch.
- Again, you are assuming that. What if I bring a counter offer with 80k signing bonus? Don’t you think fb will counter with 100k? Add to that the element of smooth talking and charisma. If I was in op’s shoes, I would be confident to get 600k rsu and 100k signing bonus with some hardball negotiating tactics.
