I have two FAANG offers, one is better than the other, however, I am thinking about h1 transfer. would you pick 1 and go with it OR file h1 with both to see if it goes through before denying other.
Pick the better one. Tell the other folks you have decided to postpone your job search. See if they can hold that offer for another year.
If you initiate both transfers and later deny one (after it is approved by USCIS), then be prepared for that company to blacklist your candidacy.
Correct
What if u go with 1 but h1 is denied and other offer is now gone.
Also keep in mind how it can look coming on the USCIS Side. One of my roommates works in H1 Transfers and has seen candidates receive extra RFEs due to doing this. Some cases it works out and others it does not, as it comes off woerd and sometimes fake if a candidate has two people filing. Better off choosing an offer and going with it, any FANG company has a stellar internal H1 Team and proven success with the process.
How is it fake if company itself is initiating the transfer? It's not like the person created dummy companies and doing transfer. At the end you are gonna get paid by just one company
It is related to the sense profile being flagged twice. The way he describes it, is like if two taxes are filed. You are just creating a reason to receive more questioning.
People lack ethics. How do you lead both companies to believe you're joining, knowing you'll later fuck one of them. I hope USCIS finally makes this illegal soon. Pretty sure you're backstabber at work too.
^Well, wake up! Looks like you have no idea wtf is going on in H1B land these days. What happens if the H1B transfer is RFE'd or denied? Then the candidate is fucked because he has to wait for 6 more weeks for the next employer to apply.
Lol, people have had to leave the country in rfe/visa rejections.. i dont understand your logic of backstabbing and dont judge on people too soon.. i am asking opinions coz i dont feel comfortable doing so, but dont want to get messed up.. oh and btw let the recession come, then we will see how many companies dont backstab employees. Would you make that illegal too? Thanks
Go with both
