Hi FB folks, I had an on-site interview with FB before the year end break. Late last week my recruiter told me that my case has passed “first round” HC and has been moved to 2nd round final review. Can someone share some information about this 2nd round HC? What is the 2nd round HC reviewing? What is the chance to be rejected at this stage? Thanks a lot !
They asked me to do onsite again for two more rounds.
Facebook doesn’t typically do second rounds unless there is a concern that comes up during calibrations, and they want to dig a little deeper into a specific area. In other words, they are not fully convinced but nothing is overly negative. Try to find out what what areas of concern they may have to ensure you are prepared to clearly address it.
I don’t think OP means a second round interview to address signal issues. He means that his info was sent to one hiring committee meeting (that he passed) and now his information went on to a second hiring committee for another assessment. My boyfriend recently got an offer from FB and the same thing happened. I think it’s normal for them to have two committees?
I think Sight means that with a second HC, there might be a second round of interviews, similar to jqxm20
I think that is the standard process. First committee consists of hiring managers and the second is executives. My recruiter had told me there is 80-90% chance of going through the second one.
Thanks for your info guys. Finger crossed
Did u got any update ?
Not yet
I am in a very similar status at FB right now, came to know about it just this week. Did you hear back?
I hear back with an offer. I did not perform very great in interviews, and thus they cannot match my current compensation. Offer is not finalized but I am ready to stay in my company.
Do they do that? Select you for the role and pay less because your interviews did not go well?
Congratulations do you mind, what was the compensation u were expecting
Had same experience at year 2016. My second HC result is I need more harder interviews then I did and was rejected.
What do you mean by harder interviews ? There was only one onsite right ?
That sounds like the company's fault
