Facebook base + bonus = Lyft base Facebook stock = 0.7 * Lyft stock Since fb is public, so comp wise it's equal. I have 2 years of industry experience. In terms of learning and career development, which one is better ?
Should also consider that Lyft is less bloated and the product is more fun...get more accountability...depends what you want

Hands down, Facebook. Very likely you will learn a lot in most teams, as they work at world scale. Worst case, you will have a strong tech brand name on your CV for a couple of years and then you can get out.
Lyft is a large gamble, they’re the underdog to a huge degree. They should be giving more in stock to compensate for that risk.
You're still early in your career. Gamble on the upside and go with Lyft imo. That being said FB would be an excellent place to grow.
I’m curious How do you get this: ‘Facebook stock = 0.7 * Lyft stock’ Is it just stock count? Or $ value based on Lyft’s current valuation?
What role?
Remember FB will give you stock refreshers each year, while Lyft will only give it to you if you're promoted. E3 is $40k, E4 is $70k. Also FB has 401k matching (not sure if Lyft does).
Lyft: no cash bonus No stock refresh for first two years No 401k matching RSUs are not liquid until 6 months after am IPO Misses many small benefits that Facebook offers Worst of all, you will not learn anything at Lyft. You will work on mediocre tech and have to deal with shit ton of politics
All true above, except you could be working on something awesome and not have to deal with politics if you joined a team that suits you with no jerks. It’s a minefield of politics and jerks for sure, but there are good teams too with good people. It could be rewarding, it could be awful.
What are the levels n offers ?
What did you do?
33% doesn't feel like enough of a premium. Lyft offer should be higher and/or Facebook is already excellent.
Do you even math?
OP must have edited post or I low key have dysgraphia. I read 0.75, so a 33% premium (1/.75)
