Abusing the hide company feature...LOL Our company has way too many meetings, way too much workload and not enough pay...Is this the same for you? What are your biggest complaints? I feel like I work so long...but I don't get paid any extra...
Yep, paranoid management, lower pay, way too much work. Lots of meetings.
Lots of micromanagement. People are afraid to take long lunch breaks or show up late. High employee turnover. Doing things that I consider unsafe and letting unqualified people do them (the company's product has a hardware component).
Meetings and politics post growth round. Something I never would’ve expected in a ‘flat’ organization. Too much politics and palace intrigue with the management team.
Purpke
Incompetent, insecure and political managers
Lack of leadership. Lot of "right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing" as we grow.
Incompetent people using politics to stick around, ultimately ruining the culture of the entire org
Very easy to get distracted working 100% remote. Pays better than other jobs in my area so I feel like I couldn't leave if I wanted to. I would probably have to take a big pay cut and then I'd also have a commute.
My growth doesn’t feel fast enough when I hear people my age at fang getting paid way more to work on shit that doesnt have nearly as big of an impact on their org as my work does at my org.
I feel you...damn. Couldn't agree more. Wonder if this is just how startups are.
